Picked up some 14/2 AC90 at an auction, has a UL listing but can't seem to find a CSA listing, it is also an aluminum ground, not sure if it is legal for Canada, any thoughts?

Two copper conductors with an aluminum bonding strip?Using it for a new installation is generally frowned upon,I'm sure there is a rule on it.But really, how badly do you want to use 30 year old cable?

Don't use it. Chances are it's all aluminum and it's just oxidized. It's not worth the risk of burning your house down. 14/2 is pretty useless anyways.

Consider it a loss and move on. I wouldn't use it. If "some" means you bought 10,000 feet of the stuff, then I'd try to sell it I guess. Please don't use it in your home. Just my $0.02.

Paid 25 bucks for a 250' roll, never noticed the aluminum ground, the ends were taped up. No big loss, thought maybe i got a deal for once lol, prob just drop it off at the scrap dealer.
