I currently have a craftsman 3-ton jack that works great on my S10 but I'm in need of a lower profile jack to get under by BMW. I would like a jack that requires only a few pumps to get the jack to it's maximum heigth.

Any suggestions on brand or a site (either web or retail) that would have what I'm looking for?

Thanks in advance,

David

Around Christmas time, Sears had a nice aluminum race jack and creeper combo on sale for $99.00 that we picked up (pictured in front of workbench).
I know folks that have bought similar ones through Harbor Freight, and even at Sam's Club....so you have many choices

Happy hunting,
Brian
(the quick-pump aspect is great!)

I have been told you just need to make sure they Meetl ANSI/ASME safety standards... not to sure if this is true... Some of the aluminum do not. Sears I know does.

The jack pictured above is a 1-1/2 ton, list about $118 can be had on occasion for the mentioned $ 99. They also have a 2 ton list about $199 sometimes on sale for $169, if you catch it at the right time you can get an additional 10% off for Craftsman tool club and if you have a Sears Premier card they send out discount coupons and you can get additional savings by using your card. At Christmas my brother bought the small one and I bought the larger.

She must have a good connection. :boobies: I went through three salespeople and the manager before they would accept the Tool Club discount and the discount coupon along with the sale price of $169 on the two ton I purchased.
