I want one I move between vehicles with my other "go bag" stuff like my tire plug kit, my CO2 tank, my tool kit, etc. I realize they aren't small but the luxury of being prepared makes it all worth it (I save you from my "I was able to plug a pair of trailer tires using 30 tire plugs and get to a tire shop" story). Anyway, the lighter the better and it would be nice if is appropriately sized to lift one end of a 3/4 ton truck to maybe 14" - so like the ton and a half or heavier range. Does anyone have recommendations from experience as to which brands are better than others? In this style of jack, when considering my specs, there isn't really a cheap solution and I've accepted that. I just don't want junk.

I find the craftsman 2ton jacks to be good. We have two at work and they are over two
years old.
