Aluminum tpms repair kits (if available)

Looking for a rethreading tool or repair kit as a lot of rust will cause corrosion of valve core and stem and break trying to remove

Does anyone know of repair kits available since a lot of customers are not willing to drop 100 on new sensor since most Asian tpms sensors the stem is built in to the sensor

Walmart tire and lube repairs sensors like those. It's $10 per sensor. They call it a TPMS re-core" . They drill out the old aluminum stem and re-thread what's left and screw in a new one. Since they keep running into alot of the cores not coming out of the aluminum stem, I guess that's their answer, instead of replacing the whole sensor.

Break the valve off and glue the sensor inside the rim (make sure it does not come in contact with the bead during mount/dismount). The valve may be broken but the sensor is still functional. I've tried globs of high temperature silicone and they've held.

Install rubber valve, mount tire and balance.

some customers don't want to foot the bill for a sensor that can cost up to $100

and wal-mart sure as hell isn't going to eat the cost of a sensor when it rolls in corroded or broken

before the recore the only options for the customer was buy a sensor or live with a rubber stem and a TPMS light that won't go away
