Alutech Garage Doors

Not heard of this brand before, but an installer has recommended them as an alternative to Hormann, which is the brand I originally had in mind for a new sectional 16ft wide door.

They appear to offer the features of a Hormann door but about 20% cheaper.

Does anyone here have experience of Alutech products?

It may only be a regional company. Horman sells world wide but I have not heard of that alutec brand. May have to do some local searches. Find out how long they have been in business and what their warranty is. Most garage doors use common hardware. Here Wayne Dalton likes to use weird hinges and brackets. So see if you can look at a few finished jobs.

Neither of those two brands of garage doors are known by me. Regretfully I am not competent to comment on either company.
