Yesterday I walked into work and lone and behold someone had hit my box with a tow motor pallet jack, again.....for the 4th time.

Why is it always me? Box was out of the way and in the corner and it seems they used it as a backstop while picking up a pallet.

Anyone else have this bad of luck?

I took my Motorhome in for an issue with the Fuel Pump. They called me to pick it up. When I got there they asked me to go back in the shop with them. Showed me my Motorhome with 2 fork holes right through the front end. Nobody stepped up and claimed they did it.

I own 3 Fork Trucks, all purchased brand spank'in new. Not a scratch on them...you should see them now. Not sure if there is 1 square inch that might not have a scratch. And the 3 main employees doing this are named "Somebody", "I don't know" and "They". The "Did it" brothers.

I won't bring anything to the shop I won't beat the **** out myself. My tool tote is disposable plastic and the tools mostly inexpensive.

Simple fact is it is a rough enviorment and things will not always go as planned.

OP, we have no idea what level of toolbox you sport but maybe time to build a firewall or accept it will be sacrificed to the great god of lazy and unobservant if nothing changes.

After a year I took my Snap On cart home, I bought it brand new and love it. It was on the verge of getting beat up so I took it home and found an old beater 40" Craftsman box to replace it at work. I work in a rough heavy equipment shop.

So sorry to hear about your box.
I walked into a professional shop a few months ago, and it was slow. No impacts hammering, just the thumping of an air powered grease dispenser. I was talking to the service mgr. about them working on my wife's jeep when out from the shop floor a voice came screaming profanities. And he was not sparing any word. I looked and I could see what looked like wheel bearing grease coming out of every drawer and every seam of a very nice looking Snap on tool box. Some one drilled and inserted a grease zert into the tool box and stuck the grease gun on and walked away. I was told that they were having a little fun with the new guy. I asked for my wife's keys back and told them if that is the way the harassed the employees that I wanted nothing to do with their business.
Just wow.

My dad owned and ran his own Mobil gas station for over 20 years. No **** like that. He would have kicked someone's **** for wasting grease and the time to clean up that mess. I would have walked out also.

Bacon Man;
Yes, you are cursed. The only way out for is to repent and find a new profession. Send me all of your tools and I'll dispose of them for you. Good luck!

Massive waste of grease today, the one box in the shop after the flood with absolutely no rust.

Not even inside the structures.

Gotta look at the bright side of things sometimes.

Not a funny joke in any manner. Kid had a right to be pissed.

This is why I do all my own work on my vehicles. I have personally listened to some of my mechanic "friends" and their coworkers laugh and joke with pride of the crappy jobs they had done on customers cars. I mean these guys were actually PROUD that they had knowingly done a garbage job of fixing a paying customers car, taken the money with a smile on their face and then busted out laughing about it once the car left. Hear enough of those conversations first hand and you will understand why I happily pay $15-$30 more to do an oil change at home rather than risking some scumbag jeopardizing my vehicle reliability and possibly my family's safety.

I've had my Mustang's rear bumper cover repainted three times because people keep rear-ending it. I guess Grabber Blue is such a tough color to notice...

I don't think you're cursed. I think you work in a shop with some numbskulls, which might be worse.

Wonder if the employer is responsible. That box of yours is private property. Looong ago even osha could not go into our tool boxes looking for "illegal" air guns.

That describes about 98% of the general populace -- not just the guy's co-workers. Ugh.

Think about how many work orders with "shop supplies" charges they'll need to put through to pay for all that grease!

That was joking i’m pretty sure, but what about setting one of those motion alarms, like the ones folks hang on hotel room doors, on the edge of the box? When it gets hit the alarm falls and makes one heck of a noise. Someone would tell the story of what happens next.
