30 hours of grinding. 5 hours of chemical etching. 52 pounds of baking soda. Two pressure washings. Triple rinsed with baking soda each time (52 pounds total!). Seventeen 29 oz. tubes of sikaflex and 220 feet of backer rod installed. Now one week later and I have 2 days of 59 to 62 degree weather.
I have 4 kits of Epoxy Coat ready to go down tomorrow and a polyurea top coating going down 18-24 hours later.
So I've got the following ready
Spiked shoes
4 metal mixing rods from kits
Gloves and additional gloves
Two half-inch drills (in case one should **** out)
Two squeegees (18" and 24") on poles
Two 18" rollers on poles
a total of 9 18" rollers
Vise grips for holding doors slightly open
Leaf blower
About 20 pounds of flakes (15 pounds plus supplied amount in the kits)
I plan to buy extra buckets so I can mix each batch fresh in a new bucket
Also will be taping off the line under the door in the morning and giving it one last blowing out with the leaf blower. Then rolling out some building paper in front of the garage door and creating a staging area.
Am I missing anything?
