The masks I had delivered yesterday had a "use by date" of 01/2026 (not like they stop filtering after that date). I figured it would be safe and not a knock off if they were shipped from Amazon as I thought they would most likely come off the same shelf. They are also better for smaller faces vs larger faces. It seems that all of the 3M masks (that I have ordered and compared to older stock 8210's and 8110's) are made smaller now that they were in days gone by. These are individually wrapped and had a bit of a chemical smell, according to the 3M website, it's the glue they use and the smell won't hurt you. They say to let them air out and the smell will dissipate. I left one on the DR table overnight and it is better. Read the reviews regarding this:

Ships and sold by Amazon is worthless for protecting yourself from fake merchandise. Their distribution centers co-mingle all the products with the same sku. So you could be getting stock from Amazon or any of the 3rd party sellers who have shipped in product to be fulfilled by Amazon. I think about the only way to be totally safe is to buy Amazon branded products, but even those are mostly generic white label items with their branding on it, or something they saw was popular and made their own knock off version of it.
