My experience is that they keep coming back. It is one of the amazon items that seem to have a pricing quirk that I don't understand.

Lower down says, 14.25" x 7.1" (this the size I got).
Also says 1 Pound weight.
More like 7 pounds!!

Agree - I got two, they are BIG and heavy. But nice clamps!
Measurements are correct (the size anyway, not the weight, don't know where 1 lb came from).
"8 In. x 5 In." means 8" grip range, 5" throat depth. Naturally the overall size is significantly larger.
Never heard of this before, but this is a Facom heart design ratchet, made in Stanley’s USAG plant in Italy, and branded DeWalt. Not widely available and it may have been discontinued. For $19 it seems like a good value. The seller won’t ship to Hawaii, but a unit will be waiting for me on my next mainland trip. Ignore the description. It is not a quick release. No one seems to have the 1/4 or 3/8 drive versions. Anyone have experience with these?

I have 1/4" drive and 3/8" drive in that head configuration with a Blackhawk brand. Pretty smooth ratchets and not very expensive. I can't say much more than that because I have a lot of ratchets and these don't get used a lot.

I have the proto version of that DeWalt in 1/2 and 3/8. Excellent ratchet, they are really smooth and low back drag, down near a koken. Use it all the time, only negative is the direction switch isn't as easy to use as simply flicking with the thumb.

I paid almost a dollar more last week for the two I bought. Take note, these are short (24") handles like would be used on a roofing trim stripper or a small shovel. You can't purchase just the replacement D handle for this price!

I got mine a week ago and immediately ordered another. I don’t care for the color, but they did a hell of a job smoothing and painting it-way better than any other clamp I have. Crazy good quality for the price.Yeah,
I thought they were 8" x 5" too...
