Yes Ryan relies on the commissions to support hosting the GJ site. This is a good thing.
I noticed the auto-append to my Amazon link yesterday.. I went back and removed it (I thought I did it wrong) - it showed back up. Then the light bulb went on. Glad this is generating revenue - operations of these sites ain't free.

There is a post from Ryan explaining about this, what you are clicking basically helps paid some of the expense for this site. Doesn’t bother me. You can search his post about it.

If you buy on Amazon without the affiliate code (assuming you haven't clicked on one in the prior several days), Amazon gets all the money. If you click on a link here directly and buy anything at all on Amazon, Ryan gets a small percentage of the money. I'd rather have some of the purchase go to GJ than all of it go to the big A.

I have a couple of those bit holders with different branding. I ordered another because they work well for me. A good deal.

Serious question,
Where would a half inch mechanism in a 3/8 body be especially useful?
I have this ratchet. It's not much shorter than my old craftsman 1/2 ratchets. Much less bulky though. It's my go to 1/2 ratchet now.

Where are those made? Didn't see it mentioned, not even in the reviews, and not in the rambling guy's video...

I wondered that too, and can't seem to find it anywhere on Amazon or on the Olsa Tools web site.

Their web site 'About Us' section says that all tools are made in Taiwan, USA, or Germany.

I sent them an email asking about COO - I'll let you know when I hear back.

Some browsers have had issues with the links over time, particularly Chrome.

I use Firefox, and often have to hold the control button when I hit the link.

And @mx3r thanks for the post, grabbed a bit organizer.
Chrome on windoze hold down control also. On linux, it just works.

Olsa Tools Pry Bar Set:

List $65.87, on sale for $21.29.

COO is Taiwan.

I emailed Olsa last night, and they replied quickly this morning:
"The majority of our tools are made in Taiwan. The only exceptions are the Pliers Wrench (Germany) and Flex Head Ratchets(USA)."

Clamps COO Germany,

"Usually ships in one to two months".

But they are big honking clamps if that is what you need. Cool post @capm !
I found I used them a lot more after I bought the first ones :ROFLMAO:

But at this price they're not much more than, and way better than, pipe clamps.
The 80" ones have been popping up occasionally the last few weeks at the same price, but limit one.
So I bought them instead of posting the deal

I needed some 10' clamps last year and bolted a pair of 50"s to a pair of 80"s with the Bessey extenders.
So much better than pipe clamps, lighter, straighter, and deeper.

VERY interesting. Last time I needed to clamp something that big was when I rebuilt the overhead cab on my RV. Well, I watched/helped my FIL (RIP) who was a carpenter. He used pipe clamps, first time I'd ever seen them.

My Dad's a (retired) machinist and toolmaker. Neither of us should be allowed near wood without supervision, LOL...

any thoughts on installing one of these in main area to take load off a mini split filter?
Eh, maybe. If I understand what you're asking, it seems like you'd have to arrange for this to be running for several minutes immediately before any time the mini-split kicks in.

I guess I have to say it's pretty good (for a simple fan in a box) - when I clicked the link Amazon reminded me I bought it 21 years ago! Spooky. The remote quit 10 or 12 years ago.

youtubing makes it look pretty popular just to build a filter box around the minisplit I guess. But I did have a sore throat last week blowing drywall dust around. Sounds like a smart idea.

I have had that unit (probably the previous one) in my woodshop for 15 years. Still works as good as the day I got it.
