Does your 1/4 drive to 1/4 hex bit holder have the machined divots for the ball detent in the square side besides the holes on two sides? Mine doesn't and comes off way too easily.
Ordered 4 bessey and 3 of the Irwin, let’s say the bessey looks dinky comparing to the IrwinThe Bessey clamps are even a few bucks cheaper, $15 and change with coupon now
(Though I prefer the Bessey Tradesman line. Hard to find for under $20 though.)

I use rechargeable batteries and with this model vs the rechargeable model, there is no down time, you can just replace the batteries vs plugging it in and waiting for it to charge (and its less expensive).

Personally, there is a place for both the plastic model and the unbreakable aluminum version. Actually, there is a place for the 12" version as well. Having said that, I like the plastic model better than the aluminum model. My reasons... It doesn't mark painted aluminum facia or vinyl siding/trim when sliding it, easier to see if you sit it down, it's a little bigger (can be both good and bad depending on the use), it might be a little lighter, my biggest is, it doesn't make the high pitch noise when dropped on concrete. Sure, you may break/crack it, (I have once) but I believe the good outweigh that.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed when I opened up ol bessey... Irwin wouldve been a better choice for sure.
12pks are best deals but a few others hidden in the various sizes

I guess the algos are playing games.
Does the Astro set have detents to capture the ratchet ball? And, do they have an SAE set? I've searched a few places, read a bunch of comments, and still can't find answers to those questions.
