I think they are the smaller 14500 battery version too. I have the 18650 and 14500 version bought several years ago. They work fine and can flip the light out when folded. Disassembly required. For $5ea I wouldn't complain.Edit: USB Lights
Going to give them a shot. Finally found buried in the reviews that these take USB micro, most bad reviews just seem to not live battery life, and if you drain completely, batteries have issues. But for $5/per, cheap enough to stash around in vehicles and shop tools.
Figured something like that. With the delayed returns because of the holiday, can try them out without rushing. Worst case, they get sent backI think they are the smaller 14500 battery version too. If you can discharge them so far it damages the battery, they do not have much of a battery control module. Personally, I would not charge them in the house or anywhere that was fire prone.Edit: USB Lights

While I would agree in general, I also take most negative Amazon reviews with a large degree of scepticism...If you can discharge them so far it damages the battery, they do not have much of a battery control module. Personally, I would not charge them in the house or anywhere that was fire prone.

"This frashlite not healthy as Brand X bought last year, not robust duty and battery earnestly fall out"
If there isn't one already, a thread about Amazon reviews could be entertaining. Beyond skepticism it's the plain dumbshittery. Some people should not be buying the tools or products they give negative reviews. You can tell they are clueless about what an object is supposed to do versus what they think it should. Or complain about the size or capacity or whatever, when it's clearly stated in the description they must not have read. My favorite is the negative review about a clicker torque wrench that the square drive sheared off. The person states they bought it to torque their lug nuts to 90 ft-lbs. The included picture shows a small 1/4" drive in-lb torque wrench with the drive sheared off. While I would agree in general, I also take most negative Amazon reviews with a large degree of scepticism...
