Thankfully it's no longer available at $1590, whew! :ROFLMAO:

It looks like it was just a single item that was being sold through CPO's Amazon storefront rather than a general discount on the item across the board. As soon as the item was sold, the price jumped back up. And it actually dropped down to $1,499 when it sold.

If it seems like I know a lot about this transaction...

Here's a decent deal on a tradesman knockoff bench vise by Forward. Fairly low price to begin with and as of this post you can take another 20% off. Last night they even let me take an additional 10% off of that discounted price, but that seems to be gone. Still 20% off gets the price down to $115.19 pre-tax which still isn't bad for that kind of vise. The discount also applies to the 4.5" and 5.5" vise's as well.
Forward 1765a-6.5 for $143.99

That looks a lot like a HF Doyle. Nice discount if it’s comparable.

Black 20A outlets/receptacles normally $39, now $16 and change shipped. Name brand too, Leviton, not off-brand Amazon stuff.

20A outlets

Orange ones here:

The orange are down to $9 for a 10 pack

Glad you're making up for some other's slack...

Now we need cheap 20A GFCIs...anyone know much about these "off brands" on Amazon that claim they're UL certified?

I built a Bell-Box extension cord and used an ELEGRP GFCI I got for a few bucks in it. It claims to be UL listed, and it does trip, but I have no way of measuring the speed that it trips or if it actually trips at 50ma. I figured a crappy GFCI is no worse than no GFCI at all, which was my original plan but I was curious. The company claims to have been founded in 2000 and the North American website claims they have all kinds of facilities and the company is in the UL database, but I'm still a little skeptical.

I'd stick to Leviton/Lutron/Legrand/Eaton for my family.

Edit: Typo

price drop on these. I received them, the grind could be better but serviceable tools none the less:

I'm ordering one of each; one for my baby HF chop saw & another to do contouring on my bench grinder:

Threw the 7" into the baby chop saw and took it for a test drive (3/4" square mystery(mild?) steel). I like that the diameter won't wear away which is a problem in such a small saw, no wheel dust another plus. It's a bit heavy for this 4ampish motor but got through the cuts none the less. The blade was a bit wobbly so though maybe I bent the spindle but seems to have corrected after the 1st two cuts...anyone experience something like this w/saw blades? I really wish HF had released a 7A+ version w/die cast housing, the thing is light and handy.

edit2:
I threw the 8" into the bench grinder too [AT YOUR OWN RISK]. I reused the stamped steel washers from the stone so the blade wobbled a bit. Fortunately, I had a spare spherical washer from "woodturners wonder"; these things correct most misalignment and are overall an awesome product that I had to pitch. Once true-ish, the thing worked as expected. I still need a spare poly guard tho may end up extending the steel one since I don't need as much clearance for this application; I slotted & profiled some rusty 1/8 but this thing really need a bigger work rest to shine:
As to why?

Not sure what the problem was. Bought 2 computer hard drives that were bad. Had to take them to a ups store 45 miles away from where I live for return shipping. I could not ship them back from my house.
UPS charges Amazon for home pickup, so Amazon shifted the final mile on returns back to the customer. UPs dropoff locations are set up to handle bulk returns, the delivery trucks aren't.

Do Not return them yet!
CALL and talk to a customer service rep and ask for the price difference to be refunded or you will return them…….. They should do this without a problem.
Last I checked, I was unable to find a phone number. Wife ordered a shirt, and twice they sent the wrong design. Tried to find a way to tell them, but it looks like it is all automated now. No chatbot even...

(888) 280-4331 you will need to fight with the A.I. bot a bit till you get a live agent/representative. I just did this on June 2 so it does work.

Thanks, will let them know about both it, and the drawer lube stick they shipped (TWICE!) without even a plastic baggy. Got over everything in the boxes...

I wonder if that would be any good for welding rod?

I have no idea. I have one of these. I bought it new in 2017 for $110. Good to see its still worth what I paid for it used.
