Not sure if this one has been posted before...

CLE-LINE Jobber Drill, 5/16", HSS - made in USA - $3.81

The listing is for a 12-PACK - but Amazon sometimes screws this up and you might receive just a single. With that said, I've ordered several of the CLE-LINE 12-packs and have always received a 12-pack as advertised.

It looks like this backpack originally retailed for around $110 - $130

IPX7 Waterproof means it can be fully submerged in water for 30 minutes!

45 liter capacity is huge for a backpack - see the photo of it being worn

AWP 45L Waterproof Backpack, Black Tool Bag Packpack, Nylon - $31.10

If it is actually as waterproof as it suggests, I could see it being useful as a motorcycle tailbag or possibly a bike pannier. I already have a waterproof duffel for my motorcycle. But if I didn't, I'd probably take a flyer on this for $31. Lots of tie down points on it. I've had a couple AWP toolbags and they were fine. Not great and definitely lower end, but fine.

Edit: It literally just went back up to $125.

The listing says 6-pack under "item details" and "additional details". I don't see mention of a 12-pack anywhere. Even if it's only 6, it's still a decent price, and I have had good luck with the other bits (also from this thread) from Cle-Line.

At $3.81 I will take the gamble…….. Hopefully I will win a six pack!
You might hit the trifecta. I ordered some 1/8" and under bits when they were under a buck and got hundreds of them, in plastic sleeves of 12.
Looked like they just threw handfuls of different size bits in the box. No rhyme or reason to the sizes or quantities, just a whole bunch of bits.
On the flip side, I also received 1 bit when the listing clearly stated quantity of 12.

Up to $13.30 now.

Someone fat fingered and missed a 1.

I know this type of electrical disconnect plier has been posted before but the generic brand version is down to $6.50. I bought a pair with the understanding that I’ll probably never use them.

I often use my plastic calipers for ballpark or dirty measurements but am always losing them:

opted for this assortment instead:
edit: While I knowingly purchased the micrometer knowing it was metric, I just noticed the verniers (save the brass ones) are also metric,,,,,oops.

Does anyone buy these mid-priced toolboxes anymore with Harbor Freight taking over the market? Is anyone buying Tekton toolboxes, for example?

Viper, Toolboxes Direct, etc are considered a step above HF USgenerals but not by much. They do offer different layouts as well.

Regarding Tekton (Rousseau) , imo, is arguably the best box on the market and worth the extra coin.

How would you rate relative to a Snap-On box?
I have no hands on experience with the Tekton box, but Rousseau is generally a product more similar to Lista / Vidmar type cabinets. Usually see them without casters and loaded with machinist tools. They're heavy duty for sure. The Tekton boxes do seem pretty fairly priced for Rousseau.

The Tekton boxes are likely better than you could buy in terms of quality per dollar off the tool truck. Plus this style of box has lots of built in slots for dividers and organizers, which can be really nice. I believe they're made in North America too.

Going to have to watch what you say one of these days. Tekton now has tool trucks too, at least in Grand Rapids where their HQ is. I was told 4, with hopefully more to come.

Can confirm Rousseau quality. I've ordered several units for work, they're really good. IIRC @4 FN 27 also recommended them recently.

FWIW, they shipped from Montreal when I bought them.

Genius Tools roller cabinet TS-465

Retail: $800ish
Amazon: $175

I can't find any info on the construction details - metal gauge is a mystery.

Only 2 units available - my guess is if you buy one, the price for the remaining one will go back up to regular price. But you can buy both for $175 each.

One hitch: this item appears to be georestricted to a few mid-South states: Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee.

^I can get it in Massachusetts. Quite short compared to other rollers. I wonder what the weight ratings are?
