I need to find a good deal on those tapered ones, watched a YouTuber enlarge holes in a semi frame with them. The Amazon set they linked was over $100, though; I can buy a lot of HF UniBits for that :D

these got here in a flimsy bag so they were bouncing against one another. A little short but no complaints otherwise.

Thanks, grabbed a set.

I have a set in a metal box (like drill bits), but are missing the smaller sizes (probably broke). So please post if you see fractional. All I see on a quick look is a 4-pc for under $20, and everything else is 80-200
I only see 4 piece for fractional. Some others advertise as fractional but I think are metric:

Mine had a red vinyl bag, but no way to open said bag without cutting. And they didn't exactly stack them in order, or they shifted during transit.

mine were the same way. I called it flimsy because I had to cut it open.....i guess it's sturdy but not exactly a place to store such things.

that plasma may be one heck of a deal if truly CSA certified. Specs points towards that being the case....wonder if it has power factor correction?

LOL, my old boss, a German, would have had a total melt down seeing those reamers touchingand banging together like that. And of course those thoughts are mine after working 20+ years for the man.

The vise I ordered is showing as 'Shipped' in Amazon with a delivery date of Tuesday. I'll give a more informed opinion of it then.

They are cast and made in Taiwan. Nice vises if you get a good one*. No brainer to try at that price.

*The packaging Yost uses for these vises is the worst I've ever seen. Cardboard box with no additional internal support. Your vise will almost certainly show up with multiple holes in the box where the base/jaws/handle protruded. I received one from Amazon with a bent handle - was probably dropped face down. Received another direct from Yost that had a crack on the front underside of the movable jaw.

I know that all sounds pretty bad, but with Amazon's free shipping and returns, there's no risk. This is a really beefy 4" vise (manual says 57 lbs) and I'm not aware of anything comparable anywhere near $49.

Are there any loopholes with Amazon to allow shipping to a region where it is not available? I'm in the northwest and it shows the great price but currently unavailable.

If so, I'd love to know! Seems like this is more common with heavy items that have free shipping (which makes sense)

So I just order it up and I am in Olympia. $49.13. Check it again or try a different browser maybe?
