I assume that I can still send gifts to people at other addresses... But maybe I am reading that wrong.

I assume the same. If I can't send stuff to people using my account it's almost pointless to have a prime account. Not that I send a lot to others but jeez...

2nd day is a joke any more. Used to be they compensated me when they were late, now they're late a lot and I get nothing. I'm not a huge fan of Walmart but damn if the stuff doesn't show up when it's supposed to and W+ only cost me $49/yr for the last two years.

I have seen these before, and wondered how well they work. So far, I haven't needed them (fingers crossed 🤞).

One thing that struck me is that the spirals seem "pre-loaded", aka with enough force (loosening) it would un-twist. I am not sure why they did it that way (and apparently they work). Not trying to second guess them, just seems odd to pre-twist against the force (maybe pre-twist with the force weakened it?).
They don't untwist.
They bit in and the angle helps prevailing out.

It's twisted so it tries to screw itself into the stripped fastener. The more it is turned, the more it digs in. It's not going to "untwist". It's hardened steel and will break like other socket mounted bits.

I could have sworn we had a discussion about these wrenches back in Nov 2021 when I bought a set followed by which wrench rack would be best but I can't find it now.

Amazon says I bought a set in Nov 2021 for $66.77. Not that I need another set but coupon doesn't show for me, might be regional.

Anyway Stahwhile 96410405 $96.85 if the coupon is available for you. Best price in the last year was $91.09.

I purchased a set from a post here, however a littler later in February of 2022, and was $73.72 from Amazon Global UK Store

I don't have a band saw and these portable units w/a base are increasingly popular. This blue one appears identical to the vevor which shockingly enough is one of the better units available in that price range (w/the base). The "klutch" from northern tool has some premium features like tool-less base detachment and a lock pin to keep it from falling down but it appears there's an issue with it popping blades when running. Plus "curtainboro" just speaks to me, you know?

I have stuff shipped to my folks home under my name, would that not work anymore?
We will find out. My reading is that I can still ship anywhere, but, I cannot give out an account for free. Years ago, I set my parents to use my account. They had their own login and everything. I think that they called it friends and family. When my father died, my Sister tried to cancel it and it would not let her. I mentioned that was because it was directly tied to my account even though it fully acted as their own Prime account.

Not only do I ship to other addresses, but, when I do, I use a name that is not my own. So, when I would ship to my parents something that I bought on my account with my money, it would ship to my Mother's name at my Parent's address. when my wife visits her best friend for a few weeks out of town I ship things to her friend in her friend's name from my account.

My reading of this is that they are getting rid of the ability for people who are not me from creating an account different from mine that is using my prime account as the base. Only time will tell, however.

Nice price on the Dewalt blades. I prefer the ones below. They used to sell them at HF but no longer. They are made in the USA, last a long time and with a Zoro 20% off coupon they cost less too.

Morse Portable Band Saw Blade, 3 ft. 8-7/8" L, 1/2" W, 0.020" thick

Other sizes are also available.

Amazon does sell Morse Portable Bandsaw blades too but Zoro with a coupon and cash back yields better pricing.
