Bought this a couple months ago and it works for my infrequent pruning needs. Takes Makita batteries, or the ones supplied. Manual oiling required with a supplied squeeze bottle. Coupon W5ZY4ILA expires today, that gives it to you for $22. Buy more then one if you trust your friends with a chain saw.

The chainsaw is still working, but the $10 label printer isn’t. They probably caught on to the double dipping on the discounted price and the coupon on the label printer. $17 for the printer is probably still a good deal if it works.

Do these off-brand label makers use standard refills (Brother, etc.), or do they require unique ones?

Mike
The one I picked uses a Dymo clone or Dymo branded. There was another I was looking at but it looked like the cartridge was proprietary so I skipped.

30% off with coupon. I was looking for a replacement tape after my old one started to split at one of the blade rivets. I almost went with my trusty tried and true Fatmax but love Klein tools and decided to try something new since the 30% coupon knocks it down to around the same price as the Stanly. Not sure if it's just a random sale, Prime days related, or due to the fact that Klein is being sued my Milwaukee over this tape measure, and a few others just like it.

You might want to check this one out. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DN8sonSCeBy/
I've definitely seen some of these mats where the magnets are spread out, and looking at the Sunex on Amazon, it appears it's only got 12 magnets spread throughout the surface with large gaps. The Icon mat doesn't seem to have that issue, and I've got a few from Eastwood that look like a similar (identical?) magnet layout to the Icon: https://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-magnetic-work-pad.html. You can see in that photo that there are lot of magnets in two sizes providing good coverage.

The Shall mat is obviously different than Icon/Eastwood (square magnets vs round), so I'll have to see how it compares. Unfortunately I won't know for a bit over a week as I chose no-rush delivery.

Best price since 2023. It's been $139 for awhile.

This is BS. I just order this and it showed prime delivery of tommorow, same as it shows in this pic. My order goes through and now its gaureented delivery date of thursday Oct 9. Its not a big deal, but its bait and switch. I seen it and added it on to fullfill another item i needed tomorrorow morning to make a $35.00 overnight deal. Now neither are coming until thursday. I dont get it. It may be a deal but i may cancel both items now,

Well get this, I cancelled my order. I'll pay the extra $20 when and if i need it. They told me they must have sold so many they can't ship them on time. It does now however say prime two day if you look at the add, BUT the piece I really needed and had to order more items, so the bill comes up to $35 to get next day delivery is now showing Prime tommorow delivery without adding anything else. It seems to me that $35.00 is just a come on upcharge attempt like a drive thru burger joint. Wouldn't be bad if you were not already paying to be a prime member.

Wow Gedore Red is made in India?!? I didn’t think Gedore had sold anything from India since they closed their plant in the mid ‘80’s after India got rid of foreign ownership as a response to Union Carbide’s Bhopal disaster. Gedore currently manufactures products in Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Brazil and South Africa I believe. I have seen some wrenches contracted from Taiwan. I’m guessing they subcontract other products as well, but I haven’t seen any from China or India. Do you have any examples in the Red line? The punch and chisel set received today from Amazon is manufactured in Germany, but I don’t know when it was manufactured. I would characterize the Gedore Red line as their value brand like Blue Point.
Some of the Gedore red stuff is pretty bad , like the 24 pc combination wrench set made in India, it look like it skipped quality control and I really should have returned that set, but I didn't, they could have charged a bit more for the set and rather made it in Taiwan.

The Gedore red sockets I've bought to fill in the gaps in my D19 set aren't awful , their fit and finish is miles better than Husky , Pittsburgh etc for around the same money( paid $24 for a 1/4 metic socket set off amazon, the ratchet is pretty decent as are the sockets )

I bought 2 of those Chisel sets too , I bought " used like new " and paid I think $12 a set, for the price , I'm happy with them. I'm really not a fan of Gedore red as it can be very hit/miss depending on the product but this hammer and chisel set got the job done.

Gedore is my go to for many things , but when buying Gedore red , I make sure it's through a place that offers hassle free returns , but I often end up choosing something else before I buy Gedore red unless it's priced very well.

I've thought about buying that, but it gets a lot of negative reviews for product quality.

I didn't see any complaints about OTC's tool product quality. There was a complaint about the case breaking, and someone received an obviously used kit, but nothing about the parts breaking, screw stripping, etc. unlke the HF version.
