I don’t even want to know how much this thread, the “show your new tools” thread and the “tools of Japan” thread have cost me.
I am surprised the Garage Journal has not added a feature where your spouse can hide certain threads from you for just a small donation. I suspect mine would enthusiastically contribute to that “good cause”.

Without this thread, I might fall into the horribly misguided idea that I have all the tools I need.

I come here specifically to avoid the possibility of that wretched disease.

BTW,
Here's my obligatory link to an Amazon sale item:

If mine ******* I buy two! Be it tools, guns, or motorcycles.
I don’t ***** if she buys tools, she don’t ***** if I buy tools. What kind of tools does she buy you ask? Take a look at the average Kitchen Aid mixer and attachments, kinda reminds me of a drill press. Got one of those butcher block top rolling kitchen islands? Ya, looks a little like a rolling tool cart. Got a Wayfair China Cabinet? Could easily be seen as a kitchen top and bottom tool box. Got bar Stools? Kinda like a shop stool. Choppers, slicers, dicers, mixers, cutters, scoopers, cookers, grillers, etc etc.lol

Much like my tool habit, my wifes tools for hair are similarly priced. Her last set of " budget" shears ( not scissors or I get my hand slapped) were 600 dollars. I tell her to buy the best she can afford just like I do for my shop.

I did pick this up on prime day from a post here, trying to better outfit my press as I find deals on tooling.

Kinda pisses me off (not the poster), I order and pay for what i use. I ordered the reluxgo for $108.99 awhile back and had to wait almost two months for it to arrive. I guess if I was a housewife with no idea what it was and had a Vine account I could have received it for free, wrote a review "THAT MY HUBBY LIKED IT" and I would have gotten it next day.

Vine shut down in 2017, so even if you had an account you'd still have been waiting for awhile 😂

So ” Vine customer review of Amazon free product is BS? Its my understanding its now a Amazon thing, there giving free products for their review, Not that there is anything wrong with it, but its BS to have a review saying your hubby liked it when it arrived, because the reviewer wasnt the one who used it,hasn't a clue what it does or if it works or if it was even used at all or flipped onEbay. Really helps out a potential buyer. There popped up on Home depot and lowes reviews also.

The short 6 second video app "Vine" shut down in 2017. Being that this is an Amazon thread, "Vine" is in reference to the Amazon program where you get products for free in exchange for reviewing them. This has not shut down and is still a thing.

Yes, I have another version (3 Shelves 4 Slots), and it's fine for what it is. If you're so inclined, it's easy enough to make something custom to your needs with scraps most of us have around the garage/shop. If you'd rather spend your time working on other projects and just want something to throw together in 5 minutes for some extra storage, you could do worse. For me, this product is pretty much the definition of 3/5 stars at a sale price of $20.

They come from a dozen vendors, and are sort of depressing when you open the package, but they actually do the job of providing a place to hang your battery tools in a compact out of the way area.

I ended up buying a second sep, and am contemplating getting a third.

Junky, yes. Overpriced for what they are, yes.

Functional and useful, yes on both counts.

They’re something you could make yourself, but at what cost in time?
