Don't forget to holler at the kids to get off the lawn :ROFLMAO:
I have this sign to keep the kids off my lawn……. I really wish the wild life (bears, deer, fox and coyote) could read because they are a nuisance.

So this thread, from which my wallet has suffered a couple hits, now needs it's title changed to reflect that "Woot" (which I hadn't heard of prior to here) is included? Does Woot just sell the same stuff but that somebody has decided they don't want? Do they have the same return policy(s) - their small print on that gave me a headache .... what is the attraction?

Really? Woot has been around since 2004, bought by Amazon in 2010.

@Tchicken: Woot was acquired by Amazon in 2010 and as far as I can tell only sells Amazon goods now. Likely overstock, slow movers, old packaging, etc. Check the deals against amazon as sometimes it is barely a savings, but generally there is a decent markdown. As far as warranties go, they say the warranty is listed in the product info (not always the case). A manufacturer or third-party warranty superceeds Woot's 90 day warranty, which is limited in scope. I have had a disk drive manufacturer tell me a product sold on Woot was not covered, but sold on Amazon is. Fight or remember to buy on Amazon next time? Returns have some typical limitations: restocking for heavy items, and no return on hazardous goods, etc. I think you return with a shipper and not the optional Amazon drop-off locations.

All that said, tools, hardware, school goods have been fine except for one instance.

[Adding links] Their forum, never read it. You can't directly search Woot, probably by design, but you can do some searching via WootSearch.

Thanks - I don't get out much obviously. At first I had the impression that Woot sold overstock/ returns ..

If I read it correctly Woot is an Amazon subsidiary that may or not have the same stuff, ships slowly, may or not have the same flexibility of return or warranty coverage, but where you may or may not be able to (the example above) find a deal, but don't try and search for it ..

Any info on Suzume company? From the branding and website, it seems to go for an impression of a Japanese company. But there is no mention of Japan anywhere that I could see.

A lot of Chinese companies use either face-smashed-in-keyboard names which makes the quality of the product too obvious,
or, in a stronger effort to obfuscate their origin, Japanese words for their brands.

In this case, the trademark is owned by Hangzhou Sumayi Technology.

With the coupon my total was $29.24. lets see if they show, their pricing is all over the place, should be illegal.

Out of curiosity I tried stacking the coupon code and the checkbox discount for the wrench set yesterday. It didn't work for me. I'm not a Prime Member, so that may have something to do with it... other then some arcane algorithm.

"IF" you need ONLY one roll then it is a "good deal" especially since it is being delivered..…. Factor in the crazy cost of gas, unless you can walk to the depot. White tape is a must have in everyones tool box and I figured some "GJ bargain hunters" would buy just one roll.
I am also a "old electrician" who use to buy several boxes of 33+ when I went to the supply house and I am also shocked at the prices of materials.
The other day I found a roll of a particular 3M VHB tape on Amazon (sold by Amazon) for less than $80 and was shocked by how *low* the price was by comparison to other well-known suppliers, most of which wanted something like twice that amount, yet Amazon's price history indicated that it was at its 365-day high. I don't get sticker shock by tape anymore. 3M's specialty tapes desensitized me. Does anyone know a good source (online) to buy them (as an individual who doesn't need a dozen cases)? I avoid marketplace sellers.

Oh. And evidently I need some white tape too!

Now back to your regularly scheduled program...

The $30 dollar Klein set above was $20 dollars two weeks ago. I bought one, great tool. I am surprised they have any in stock to sell after the recent sale.

Did anyone who ordered this receive it? I have just gotten a third "order delayed" notice from Amazon.
Mine arrived on Tuesday 09/0802026. I still haven't opened the package. It was $19.98 plus local sales tax for a total of $21.25. I remember ordering a leather mallet and buying a second a few minutes later. The first was delivered after about 8 weeks, and the second never arrived.
