How does it compare to the M12 Milwaukee? I have a 1989 Case backhoe with a number of grease zerks, some of which are reluctant to accept grease.

I'm a yellow guy, so no comparison to make - but the dewalt unit works great on all my zerks, I have about 40 to hit each spring.

That's been on closeout for quite a while. Tekton's website says it's a discontinued item removed from their lineup in 2025. Same price on Tekton's site.

I have the M12 version and it works great. Just buy the one you already have a battery platform for...they all work very well.

It is getting hard to trust the details for deals posted on Slickdeals. That said, it seems like a pretty nice set for $16 - but with no reason to be in any hurry to buy it. It is still in my cart on Amazon but I haven't bought yet. I don't need another nut driver set, but I think i would prefer this to my unmarked/color-coded Craftsman set. For whatever reason, however, I notice I generally use my SAE nutdrivers more than my metrics. I assume because I tend to use them indoors for electrical (SAE) and in the garage I am generally using metric so I just use a 1/4" driver and socket.

One nice thing about these Tektons is that they have a 1" recess for long studs. That feature (along with the handles) may sway me to buy them. But I'll have to wait until I have $35 worth of Amazon **** since I dropped my Prime.

As a commercial hvac tech, i carried a 1/4",5/16" and a 3/8" and not a metric to be found. Now days however i'm surpised anyone carries them at all. It's all impact driver and tighten them up until you see smoke coming from the threads on thin sheet metal panels. I started carring oversized sheetmetal screws to replace the screws in the holes that where wallered out, otherwise you would go on the roof to find the access panels laying on the ground and the loose screws poked into the rubber roofs.

My 36 Ford and even my 70 roadrunner never
heard of Metric.

Come to think of it, I’m working on my hydronic heating system today, and haven’t needed any metric so far, either.
