I have an 8in Bessey coming soon. Wonder if its China, description says Germany too. Was a AWD for $5.75
My wall of clamps is growing. This will be my first Bessey other than the Bessey pipe clamps.
But I have been happy with the Irwin and Pony/Jorgeson claps so far. Stopped buying the Horrible Freight ones, they Suk in comparison. Especially when I have been getting deals on better brands for same or less money.

I don't know about their other clamps but I broke a HF 4" C-clamp just tightening by hand while standing in front of the bin. And it didn't take a lot of force applied. It broke in the middle of the "C" section and the exposed metal looked like porous slag. I tossed it back in the bin to possibly alert someone else who might be considering them. "Heavy Duty or Industrial" or whatever they call it, I'd hate to see their light duty stuff.

Fortunately I bought the Teq Correct Professional impacts ($20 each set) at Advanced Auto Parts, they are very nice for a brand I’d not heard of before. I even found the Teq Professional 24” long, 1/2” drive Breaker bar ($5). The deals were so good I went back & bought more to add to my stock pile of tools for future son in laws…. 4 daughters will do that!

This the first Bessey in the clamp hoard and in all honestly might be the only Bessey bar clamp of this type. I know its a light duty version.... Irwin and Jorgensen are better IMO.
