Not Amazon, Direct Tools, but:

8 piece Ryobi tool set with 3 batteries, charger and two bags, $149 plus shipping. Today Tuesday 11/29 only.

That is a lot of stuff for that money. Would make a nice gift for a DIY needing to get going on cordless.

Bit of Sunex impact socket and hex research for a friend, why not share.

Sunex impact socket set search day, double check for skips/specs:
  • 1/4 Master set #1848, standard & deep, 4-15mm, 3/16-9/16, sockets only, $53.73 USD (link)
  • 3/8 Master set #3342, standard & deep, 8-19mm, 5/16-3/4, short extension and univ joint, $73.54 (link)
(Not big savings on this kit (3342) but some off.)
  • 3/8 metric #3351, 7-22 no skips, standard & deep & universal sockets, short extension and univ joint, $136 (link)
  • 1/2 SAE #2568, 3/8 - 1-1/2, standard, deep, 19 each, univ socket; 3,5,10,15" extensions, $147.81 (link)
  • 1/2 metric #2569, 9-30mm (skips 25,28,29), standard & deep, univ socket; 3,5,10,15" extensions, $118.30 (link)
  • 1/2 metric #2669, 9-30mm (skips 25,28,29), standard & deep, univ socket, NO extensions, $103.96 (link)
  • (4 extensions for a few bucks more seems like a good deal #2569 vs #2669)
  • 1/2 metric #2646, 10-36mm (no 31), deep only, sockets only, $105.38 (link)
  • 1/2 metric #2546, 10-36mm (no 31), standard, socket only, $63.91 (link)
  • and Capri Tools, 1/2 metric standard 10-27 no skips, bare sockets/plastic tray, $39.99 (link)

Sunex impact hex/torx sets:
  • 3/8 master hex (and torx, triple) #3569, metric/sae hex 4-19mm & 3/16-3/4 not in all lengths (long/med/short), T20-T55, Sec-T TT10-TT50, M4-M16, $126.50 [This is a nice set, but would benefit from having the smaller bits as hex bits with some adapters] (link)
  • 3/8 hex low profile #3646, 1/4-3/4 (8) & 6-19mm (8), some skips, $27.74 (link)
  • 1/2 hex #2637, 1/4-3/4 & 6-19mm (10 sae/10 metric), some skips, deep socket length, $67.41 (link)
  • 1/2 hex #2637L, same as above but 6" shaft, $99.54 (link)

Thanks for this. We always buy the big rolls of blue ones at work. I bought 2 of these for at home and 6 for work. Sounds like these may be a step above the blue.

Sure thing! I think the X90 is the best Wypall makes, so these are just a step below. When dad worked on the road as a mechanic, his company supplied him with boxes of the X60 white rags. I loved them. These X80's should be even that much better....although I don't care for the red color (the dye can bleed at times, though not as bad as, the typical red fabric shop rags)

And according to the reviews, these shop towels can be washed many times and reused. I've never tried it though

I use them on a lifted and modified older Chevy truck of mine. They're great and this is an incredible price on them.

They're also good on tractors.

I like them enough to be considering buying another pair, and I don't really need them...
Need Has nothing to do with it LOL
I'd like to get my car up that high, but I don't have a jack to go that high.
