I don't know where I got this (maybe here, sorry)

Once you search for something on Amazon, go to the address bar and add
&pct-off=50- (for 50%) and press enter

It will then show you the items that are that percent or more off. You can change the 50 to anything you like. I sometimes use 90-. Not all of the items are "really" that percent off, but there are often good deals.

It does show that it recognizes the search for 50% off but the items dont actually show that discount. Either way I will keep playing with it.

It's a percentage based on some arbitrary number, but don't go by the crossed out original price. Often that is the last discounted price and not the normal price.

I've always used 60% or more. Less than that doesn't filter out the **** that is normal prices.

Pretty sure that was a www.Toolguyd.com / Stuey discovery

It used to be a filter option on the left side, but Amazon removed that. I think Stuey was one of the ones who shared the URL once the filter was gone. He was a great contributor to the hot deals section!

I've noticed that since Amazon started limiting sales of nonessential items the amount of tools on heavy discount has been very limited. Hopefully they pick up again soon.

Nice.
I agree the prices on items are often arbitrary - double check.
Is this part of the savings scheme that (often) generates inflated savings percentages in Forklift?

What can make the results look funky is that I think it includes third party and used items BEFORE shipping costs, which can be crazy from some sellers.

Amazon is suffering from the Wuhan Flu, we have prime and for the last few weeks everything is taking more like a week including vitamins etc that should be essential.
