I did a search of woodworking tools and selected Prime Day Deals. Mostly junk brands. But if you are looking for a plastic contour gauge, there are approximately 3,000 to choose from. Bon Appetit!

The best deal I've seen is the $50 off $200 Bosch deal.

This Bosch jigsaw in particular is a good deal (many claim it is the best jigsaw available - even better than Festool):

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D4R1LRG/?tag=atomicindus08-20

The current price at $169 is about $30 cheaper than normal (and close to the all-time lowest price on Amazon), so if you can get it for an additional 25% off with the $50 off $200 promo, then you've done very well. You'll have to find another $31 worth of Bosch promo items to add to your cart though. Here's a link to help you do that:

Several Wilton vises are 20% to 25% off... the Tradesman are imported but the Machinist are still made in USA. The additional discount is applied at check-out.

The 400S is $520 which is the lowest price by far that I could find online for a new one. The beastly 800S is $2850, again lowest by far compared to others. Tradesman 6.5" is $442 which beats the lowest price according to Camelx3 by $56.

The best deal I've seen so far that would be a good fit for the garage journal forums is this:

https://www.amazon.com/3M-WorkTunes-Protector-Bluetooth-Technology/dp/B07N6XXCWM/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=UW1JLY3UOQ0Q&dchild=1&keywords=3m%2Bhearing%2Bprotection&qid=1602622669&s=hi&sprefix=3m%2Bhearing%2B%2Ctools%2C168&sr=1-1-spons&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzTUdISUQ4MEVGOVNKJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNzMzMDUxMkZFSVpBSFY1VVpIRCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwMDU4NjkxMzlVQkdORlVJUVE2RiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU&th=1

They are currently $64 (which is a great deal compared to what I paid for them last year) and prime gives you 30% off at checkout. That makes these pretty damn cheap. I also think they are just about the best bluetooth headset out there for someone in loud environments. I'm a full time woodworker and wear hearing protection all day long everyday. These protect my hearing and let me listen to audiobooks even while running serious machinery. The gel cushions are an improvement over the other versions. I picked up a couple extra pair with this deal for spares.

I've tried other bluetooth headphones (big name super expensive ones) while working and they just don't compare when dealing with noisy environments

I couldn't find a deal worth taking.
Tv's seem to be low Line orToo high line and few of them.
All the things on my list aren't lowered enough to be enticing.
This is contrary to the usual money I spend on prime days.
Maybe the deals are there and my heart just isn't in it this year.

Maybe I've just bought all I need. That would be a shame....

I'm ditching my Ernst rails. I bought one extra so I would have some extra uprights if I needed them.

Bosch 10" slider miter saw is included in the 50.00 off deal. Perfect timing as I just sold my
older one. Cheaper than anywhere I can find.

I read somewhere that there is a design error in the glide system that causes the 10" saw to not cut straight on long cuts, hence the reason no one carries them. Might want to do some digging.

What didn't the Ernst do? Are you just trying to maximize space or do you have some wide pliers that didn't fit the Ernst?

Thanks for the mention!

Overall, the deals are pretty lackluster this year, but there are still some good ones depending on what you might have been looking to buy.

I agree with gamp - the Bosch deal is one of the best. $50 off $200 isn't too uncommon, but this time around there seem to be fewer exclusions than usual.

I don't know why, there are a couple of "Amazon UK Global Store" Prime Day deals today, some of them higher-priced with shipping. e.g. Festool quick clamps for ~$35 plus ~$13 shipping. It's $42 regularly, and usually with free shipping. So... $48 for (1) clamp (there's a limit of 1), vs. $42 regularly??? The deal is "70% claimed" so far. It's not a carryover from the Amazon UK deals, as that one is 42% claimed right now. *shrug*

Sorry for the delay in my response.

For some pliers, the slots are too wide and on others, they are too narrow. The pliers with electrical insulation and tin snips would be examples that have wide grips. The narrow pliers have a tendency to move in the slot too.

To answer your second question in one word, yes!

Thanks for costing me another $500+. It's rare to see these vises at this type of discount. I wonder if Wilton is planning to offshore the Machinist production as well?

Anybody miss this deal they are $23.39 right now which is still a great deal. I know there are some who discount them as "old school", whatever that means, but it's a great little light in my opinion. I missed the previous deal but just picked up my second on this deal:
