Amazon Prime Day Deals

Since today and tomorrow are Prime Days I thought a thread would be in order to post deals. Unfortunately with ad-ins like Honey, I am seeing prices go up and they provide a discount to bring them back down or they didn't change at all.

However if you find a smoking deal, maybe post it here for others to enjoy.

They upped the price and then discounted it back. At the end of May it was that price without a sale.

Before Christmas last year it was $56.
Good to know, I don't track GW pricing too closely, but it seemed like a decent price for mid-range combo wrench set. I have the 44 Piece set and it's been great.

This ^^^ right here. Caveat emptor.

Amazon is a high flying Wall Street stock. They must feed the Wall Street beast with ever increasing sales $$$. They've been in some form of scam mode for the last 5 years.

The best deals are from their wild price fluctuations. I had been watching a Proto socket and ratchet set drop in price. This morning it was $100 which is about $200 off retail. I have lots of sockets already and wanted one more price drop to make the deal even crazier so I decide to continue waiting. But I knew that was a big risk --because of the traffic from Prime Day, it wasn't likely to remain unseen. And someone else did get it. Hope it was one of you.

I don't know why I've even wasted my time on Prime day browsing their site, I don't think there's been actual good deals since 2015/16. I haven't bought anything the last 2 years, I only picked up something this year because someone posted a $10 off deal for prime day several days ago, so I bought something I would have anyway.

Haha, typical. I'm sure there are but I've never found a "great" deal for Prime day.

One year I bought something cause they made it seem like a good deal. A month later the price dropped lower than what I bought it for on Prime day.

I've had an item in my saved cart for almost a year now. The price has never fluctuated since I've been watching it. Last night the price went up $2. And now today it's advertised as a Prime deal, $3 off. So now it's barely less than $1 cheaper than it was.

Prime day is a joke to me, I think of it as Black Friday now, all just trickery! Again, I'm sure there are good deals, I just never come across any for the stuff I need where it's worthwhile to buy. I'm not complaining though, just saying I'm not fooled by "Prime Day".

I was hoping for another deal like this one. Haha!

This 205 piece Proto USA set was $20 for almost 3 months before anyone noticed! :eyecrazy:

The one in the capture is probably either camelcamelcamel or keepa. By far I found the most Amazon deals by actively searching using So.cool but the advanced features kept breaking and then the developer ended it. Unfortunately I have not found a replacement. There's junglesearch but 99% of the time I can get the same results just using the options on Amazon's search.

There are some fluke meters and accessories that seem to be an ok deal and the NOCO battery boosters are all on sale.

Xtool scan tools are a genuine decent deal. The D7 just had a big update that came out 2 or 3 weeks ago which gave it pretty much the same capability as the D8 and it's now only $382 bucks on Prime Day. It's probably the cheapest a full bidirectional control scan tool has ever sold for. Is it perfect? No...... but it's $382 bucks and works well on most vehicles.

Such a good deal. But I can't spend the money right now.

I bought an inflatable standup paddle board this morning. My girls have grown over the past year and we probably shouldn’t have all 3 in one kayak now. I have two kayaks but that’s a lot of work to inflate and deflate two. One paddle board is easier and way lighter.

I haven't seen anything worth buying from Amazon in years --- except that they sell Type 00 flour from Italy I use to make pizza by the case.
