"We are excited to report that for the second straight year, customers ranked Amazon #1 in the annual Harris Poll on corporate reputation.

Harris surveys more than 23,000 people across six corporate reputation dimensions: Social Responsibility, Emotional Appeal, Products and Services, Vision and Leadership, Financial Performance, and Workplace Environment. We hit a new high-water mark for the 18-year-old survey with a record score of 86.27 and ranked in the top 10 for the ninth consecutive year.

To say ‘thank you’, we are offering $8.62 off your purchase of $50 or more, for today only. Just insert the promo code BIGTHANKS at checkout. And, be assured, we’ll continue working hard for you every day."

Edit: Just saw it advertised on their home page as well.

doesn't work for me...all 3 items are prime, $55 total, and I'm a prime member...
"The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase."

WTF?

edit; after chatting with their cust svc rep, it appears the code only works if everything is "sold by amazon and fulfilled by amazon".

most stuff on there is only fulfilled by amazon...I need to spend $15 more and can't find a single thing on my wish list or anything else that is "SOLD" and "Fulfilled" by amazon....what a crock...

$50 worth sold by Amazon.

Thanks, worked for me, though I had to read fine print to get it to work.
I've had some things in my cart for a year and that was the incentive to hit the checkout button.

unfortunately very little seems to be sold by amazon anymore...

edit: except auto parts! found GM/Delco brakes and bushings I needed for the Enclave...probably paid more than locally but I hate losing a discount!!!

Thanks! It seems it won't work on Warehouse Deals (I figured but had to make sure). I think I'm going to go with an Astro 7868 ball joint adapter set for $52.99. I could have used this a few weeks ago and had to rent one from the auto parts store instead.

Few things on my saved list that qualify. Notably the Lisle tap sockets, Knipex 3 pack and Fiskars 4lb hammers.

just curious, how do you/did you search for amazon as seller? I tried the tips and tricks listed on their site and searched online as well, but the options they claim are there in the departments were removed.

Did anyone hear the thing on NPR about a week ago about what it's like to be an Amazon picker? She said by far the most popular items are all nature of iPad accy's and dildos. Not kidding.

I always think of that when I hear GJ members shopping lists....

Not positive but I always assumed everything with prime is sold and fulfilled by
Amazon. Even if you don't have prime, there's a check box to only show search results that are prime eligible.

Prime shipping can also apply to sold by other than Amazon suppliers.

Doesn't work for me.

Edit: every item has to be sold by Amazon, not 3rd party sellers.

Amazon is the middle-man nowadays, and surprisingly, I've been finding things I couldn't locally lately. Unfortunately, a lot of items purchased and received from Amazon either been previously returned or poorly packaged. Only wish can inspect their items before sending them out to customers--that goes for expired food items as well. 90% of their food items are highly processed. Who like's Cheez-It? (Made by Genetic Engineering)
