Has anyone returned a Cordless tool back to amazon within 30 days without using it?

I return an Aircat impact one time when I found out IR was coming out with there new 2235. I did not have a problem, but was wondering if there policy is different for electric tools.

did you buy from third party seller through Amazon or from Amazon direct. If through third party seller, you'd need to contact them for return instructions.

you should be able to simply log onto your Amazon account page and go through the return process. I can't see any reason why'd they reject returning it for a full refund (less S&H of course).

Yeah, it's pretty easy on amazon's website. Print off the shipping label, re-box it and drop it off somewhere UPS picks up.

Yep, their returns section will give you the answer you seek. Click buttons and see what it tells you, if the answer suits you then confirm it.

Hell... I ordered some boat letters to use on the Jetski, and the ones I got turned out to be like 3" wide and wouldn't fit. I didn't claim anything dishonest for the reason (don't recall what I selected) but they refunded me and didn't want them back. I've pretty much always been thrilled with the results of their return policy, including making money with their shipping credit offers.

I have returned a Milwaukee Fuel hammer drill to Amazon (actually a 3rd party seller, fufilled by Amazon), not because it was unused, but it was defective. I got a refund promptly (as there was no more available).

I bought the 12v Dewalt 4pc kit for work from Amazon, after the first use the impact stopped working, got on chat with Amazon, they didn't even questions me on anything, sent me a return label and at the same time shipped me my replacement, had 30 days to return the broken set.

Amazon has an excellent track record with me and returns on anything, hell, I once returned a cell phone I bought and just didnt like, 29 days of use when I contacted them, said as long as the screen wasnt damaged and no water damage I was good to go.

Just don't lie, had a buddy try to pull one over on them and even though they still returned the item they were not very happy about it and let him know.
