The "Amazon warehouse deals Permathread" seems to be simply gone.

Any idea what happened to it?

I would guess it became so irrelevant due to the endless reviews and requests for reviews rather than deals that it deleted itself for the good of humanity.

I dunno, I get a little grin knowing that it really annoys the SD'ers and resellers who sub to the thread solely to get a good deal for the purpose of reselling.

People are absolutely allowed to re-sell, but it's WORK. They just want it spoon-fed to them with minimal effort and life just doesn't always work that way.

Uh oh, I might have annoyed one of them with this post (gasp)

Just caught that this is a new thread. I missed the impact sockets, I could really use some more as I just picked up two 3/8" impact wrenches lately.

The master impact set above is just as good a deal if it doesn't overlap with sets you already have. When using an impact, I usually reach for the deep sockets first so they are good to have.

Wright intermediate 256-piece set (with roller cabinet) for $1200 and free shipping. Note, you will likely need a forklift to remove it from the truck. I had mine shipped to my workplace and the guys helped me unload it with the proper equipment.

Pretty good price for a 42" roller cabinet and all those tools.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0051VDMDA/

http://www.wrighttool.com/documents/Wright_CAT92.pdf - it is shown on page 18 of the catalog here. (page "11" in a PDF viewer) ...

edit: I realize I forgot to add something. The description and picture definitely show the older WT796 cabinet.. but I can tell you mine arrived with the newer one listed in the catalog. I am definitely not complaining either way. YMMV!!

Considering how much I like my Wright Tools, this is a great deal. I wish I knew about it last year as I was setting up my garage for bigger projects.

Lowest price ever according to CCC. If I didn't already have the Makita magnesium hypoid gear saw, I'd be all over this. Seems like this one is slightly lighter and with a little more power, but the reviews aren't as good, and you have to oil the worm gear, compared to Makita's sealed hypoid gear which never needs to be oiled. But this is also cheaper now and seems like a great saw:

Since you seem to be familiar with the different saws, how do these tend to rank compared against the Skilsaw worm drive saws?

Honestly, I'm not crazy familiar with them other than having done a bit of research back when I was comparison shopping these saws a couple years ago, so I can't speak from personal experience. That said, Bosch does own Skil and in the customer Q&A on the Bosch Amazon page above, someone else asks this question. Supposedly they're made in the same Bosch factory and are essentially the same saw other than the Bosch having a few extra ergonomic features, a magnesium foot and a hanging hook.

$125 at CPO + a $20 off in $100+ Bosch tools = $105 in cart, free shipping.

Good to know. I did some digging and Skil/Skilsaw is no longer owned by Bosch as of some time in 2016, though looking at pictures do make the two appear damn near identical.

$125 at CPO + a $20 off in $100+ Bosch tools = $105 in cart, free shipping.

Amazon has the $20 off as well in case CPO sells out.

In the spirit of giving this thread a jumpstart:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002SRJFE/?tag=atomicindus08-20

SK 4511 SuperKrome 11 Piece 3/8-Inch Drive 9-Millimeter to 19-Millimeter Flare Nut Crowfoot Wrench Set

$147.38. By far the cheapest price I can find anywhere, even if you factor in BF Discounts at other retailers. HJE has it at this price but not in stock so this is your best bet. When I ordered it said 5 in stock. It's been lower, but not really in the last 3 years.

I'm debating on picking up some Gearwrench 84 tooth ratchets. Lowest price according to camelcamelcamel. I don't need these as I already have too many SK, Pittsburgh Pro, a few Snap-on, Craftsman RP, Tekton 90 T, Hazet, Stahwille, Husky, and Duralast. But the price is tempting. Someone please talk me out of buying these.

That is a good deal, but I am in the same boat and don't need more ratchets!

Easy, get these instead:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000V5G7LU/?tag=atomicindus08-20

4 piece gearwrench flex 84t ratchet set $64.

You don't have too many flex ratchets do you?

I was also looking at those as they are also a great deal. I have cheap flex ratchets in each drive size and still haven't used all of them. But you can never have too many ratchets as I have learned on GJ. These may have to wait until next year.
