Looks like a nice nested table(s) set up.... I am not sure I could buy the stainless material, casters etc for that amount locally...

I ordered a Tarrison table from Warehouse once. The thing was a piece of junk, there was SO much wrong with it.

Edit -- by the way, can someone point me to some language on what should go in the "Non Tool" thread and what should go in the original permathread? The wire wheel a few posts up definitely seems like a tool.

but it is not a tool, it is a consumable for a tool. should screws go in a tool thread? sandpaper?

i did not start this thread, but allow me to take a stab at it:

this thread was started because people were complaining that "non tool" items were being posted on the other thread, even though the introduction posting said:

"I'll continue to post Amazon warehouse deals here. These are usually very limited stock quantities, once they're gone they're gone.

I welcome all of you to share any deals you find here as well."

here is that post:
https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showpost.php?p=4191192&postcount=1

notice it never says "tool", it says "any deal".

i imagine that this thread was intended to address the complaints. certainly some things posted here are clearly tools. i myself have posted gearwrench ratchets, as an example. my only defense is that it is easier to post everything in one thread and not worry about the appropriateness of each item. i also dont have the fortitude to jump between threads. i usually post in bursts, and won't be bothered to jump around. the public good isn't worth that to me.

there you go. likely not the rules you were looking for, but it is my take on the situation.

the tools thread has "traditional, garage/mechanic" tools, like wrenches and screwdrivers and ratchets and sockets. Everything else goes here.

at least that's my "not really paying perfect attention but kind of think it's this way and Duker can do whatever the hell he wants (except head-**** a bison) because he's posting deals, so bow now , say thanks and quit bitching" feeling about it is.

now, where's that beer emoji... :)

I think I met my match with something as hard headed as I am....

The Elk and Bison are great to watch. Today we explored some backcountry on quads and if I had to leave Texas this might be the spot!

As for the intention of this thread.... I think these guys nailed it.

Yes, you will see the occasional tool listed because as was mentioned trying to move between threads to post can be onerous sometimes and it’s easier to just use the same thread. The goal was to try and appease as many folks as possible but you can’t always please everyone but this seems to be the best solution to date.
