The big socket set arrived today. Wife texted me at work and said there was a big box on the stoop that was too heavy for her to move, so it was going to sit there until I got home. We don't have any issues with the porch pirates so I didn't drive home early to move it.

It's a big set! And it's heavy. The blemish(s) are on the plastic box that contains the tools, the tools themselves look new. The bent bar is missing from the set, which is dissaponting because I wanted that.

Is there any value in complaining about the missing piece?

Bottom line is that people subscribe to this thread to find deals.
If I get a notification to this thread I expect to see a deal posted. Lately it is more BS chatter than deals.
Why even bother posting if your not posting a deal?

I guess now I'm a Drunk A-hole.

Never any intention (or thought) of associating alcohol and anatomy. I meant '**** ' as in uptight. And excuse me for wasting your precious time because you expect to see deals posted instead of idle chatter. Like you're the only one. I hope you have better days going forward. I'm finished here.

Truth be told I can’t even tell the difference between the “tool” and “non tool” thread. I just checked both.

There is no difference. Years ago a poster had a problem with people posting "non tool" warehouse deals in the thread. So Duker started this thread. They kind of coexisted for a while. But now this thread is the only one that gets used for warehouse deals, and then there is the non warehouse deals thread.
