Does anyone happen to have one of these impacts and can comment on how it is?
Reviews seem decent!
I don't have one. Was about to buy that one (its the 3rd-gen, "1000nm" model), but asked the TTC guy if could he test it first, (that's before its brief appearance at $35). He actually did and showed me asking along with others! Quite a surprise.
But ... It did not score as well as the "second gen" model, which met its torque claims. This one has highly exaggerated torque claim per TTC. If it could be had for $34 though, though of course it would be a steal. Its back up to $160 - 30 instant coupon.
That happened so quickly after not scoring well on TTC, I wondered if they decided to attract some attention to the model, or at least reduce the amount of stock they were sitting on. It will be interesting to see if goes back on deep discount.

The one TTC had been recommending is this one, which comes with two batteries.

(I think ... there are 2 models now with that shape so you should double check before clicking buy)

There is also this right-angle torque wrench that won 2nd place on TTC just this week: $99 - $10 instant coupon, so lower price than TTC used when scoring it. I actually just ordered that one (I am on the Makita battery ecosystem)

l know, l couldn't pass it up for the money, although jmcq states according to TTC it's not as good as the 2nd generation.
I guess we will see. l just want this one for lug nuts for the most part.
I would have used it for lug nuts too, in case of a flat tire on a road trip. I already have the Makita charger and batteries. Maybe next time.

I'm not sure how I missed this deal! I would have been all over it.
That deal could not have been up for long. I saw the $39 $35 deal within 2-4 hours of it being posted and it was briefly unorderable (to me, anyway). So easy to miss. I was disappointed too.

Then it went back to the $160-$30 maybe 15 minutes later after it was unavailable to me. TTC bought the kit for the same $130 and the review is here:
(like a week ago) starting around the 1:00 mark.

The TTC of the "better value" of the gen 2 seesii WH710 is in this episode:
. At that time of evaluation the 2 battery kit was sold for $140-$150. Last I checked it was down to $128. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09ZTVZG2T/?tag=atomicindus08-20

The TTC eval of the $99-10 SeeSii right angle impact wrench (which I bought and is scheduled to arrive Sunday) is here:
starting near the 7minute mark. This got 2nd place, but first place is significantly more expensive, not one of my battery systems, and I'm cheap economical of late. Link to product here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BWJJJPQT/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Not as good for the money at the regular price. But I completely envy you that you got the deal. To anyone who got it at $39 $35, you all ****. 🤣

Reduced to 30 cents. Looked up product number and quantity is 100 pieces, although not stated in description, the stated product weight would confirm that. I ordered 60 cents worth! Again...someone brighter than me please provide a link, thanks! (shows not currently available, but you can place order anyway, and order confirmation stated arrival update will be provided)
These came in today. Box of 100 grade 2 bolts for 30cents.

I was *just* about to pull the trigger on that mag drill, but then I saw that it's only a single-speed, it requires a tool to change the cutter, and it didn't include a Weldon shank to drill chuck adapter. I could use another mag drill, but those are a few too many compromises, I think.

That said, if you have specific projects for a single annular cutter and you don't mind having to use an Allen key to change the bit, that is a smoking deal!

My concern is the speed at 850 RPM. The Hougen I lust after is two speeds at 250 and 450 RPM.IMG_6543.png

850 rpm would be cooking!

Have you considered the DeWalt mag drill? It's a two-speed unit (300 and 450) and is really well-made; it's also quite a bit less expensive than the Hougen. I use mine often. My only gripe about it -- and this seems universal to pretty much all of them -- is that the spindle is non-reversible so I can't easily power-tap with it.

A quick change chuck is a niche thing in my opinion, and not widely available, even among industry leading mag drills. What mag drills are you looking at where you consider that a must have?

I use a DeWalt DWE1622K and have grown rather accustomed to the QC chuck system.

There are 5 reviews on the page you linked and 2 out of the 5 are about how the QC chuck *****:

"Quick change chuck

Drill is of good quality, but the chuck ***** it walks off to the side making it difficult to drill a hole on center in tight places"

"Not worth the money

The quick coupler made the drill chuck very unstable"

This is exactly what I would be concerned about. The weldon shank was designed to be used with set screws. I have to believe the quick chuck designed to accept a weldon shank will always be a compromise.

I think Fein has their own (?) quick chuck design but I think it's proprietary and it seems like that would limit access to cutters.

I don't mean to be grumpy about this and I would love to hear that there is a solid, reliable quick chuck that performs like the set screw design (really, I would actually love to hear it - the dewalt flex volt advantage mag drill looks insane) but I would need to hear some more positives to be persuaded.

Interesting! I've been using this mag drill for about 5 or 6 years now and don't have any complaints with the chuck, even after having cut thousands of holes with both the Weldon and drill chuck systems. The Flexvolt mag drill looks FANTASTIC but I cannot justify the $2k for it right now, unfortunately.

I already tried canceling. It said seller may take a few days to respond. lol.
That's the scam. Seller grabs the payments, provides fake tracking to prevent credit card chargebacks. Even if canceled by Amazon or credit card, payments likely already disbursed and losses passed along to other consumers as higher fees.
