I looked at it before starting work, and decides to buy, I had stopped buying warehouse dealing with all the returns, we'll see if it's any good. Two hydraulic motors with rebuild kits are on my work bench awaiting a bigger torque wrench than I had.

Ive had good luck too. I think I've sent back two things, one was rather scary. I think it was over $300, cant remember for sure, but UPS never picked it up from the 'printcopyship' place that I normally used (no UPS stuff around here). Amazon was cool about it and still gave me a refund even though UPS never showed it as being shipped. I often wonder where that thing got off to.

I always get something indicating it was received. I had a return for zoro.com this week and the drop off was a Dollar General. I asked for a receipt and they said they had no way of giving me one. I drove the extra 5 miles to FedEx to drop it.

installed; works well. A bit large so good for high roof houses or garages. Picked this style over solar because it replaced an old light so installation was there, picked motion and light sensing because I didn't want to have to remember to turn on the light and didn't want full brightness/wattage unless needed either.

I got em but I think they're fake, I'm sending them back unless anyone can verify this is how they are produced. No Proto or USA stampings on the sockets. They just say Chrome Vanadium and the size. I have no 1/4" to compare and the pics I can find online are not good. I have a set of 3/8" Proto sockets and the fix and finish is similar but those are clearly marked.
That stinks. They should have Proto on them. Amazon has a great return policy when their system breaks down. Sorry my find turned into such a hassle. I’ve had this happen to me in the warehouse.

Someone probably received the real Proto stuff and swapped them out with cheap ones then did a return. And then the person accepting the return didn’t look closely enough to see the switch and listed them as used.

Not your fault at all. I appreciate that you posted them. Usually "used like new" goes well, I've only had a few fails. The most aggravating part was the call I made to Amazon to try and give a heads up so this doesn't get re-listed. I was told the situation has been escalated so expect to see them again.
I put a note on the item to try to prevent that. I never could stop them from shipping one flap disc instead of ten though.

When I send something back to AWD that wasn't as advertised or clearly defective I always deface the packaging with the reason. "NFG" or "SCAM" and a reason in bold letters on all six sides of a box is
hard for the highly trained product specialists/warehouse monkeys to ignore.
