Thanks @Duker I picked one up probably 5 yrs ago (you probably posted it too haha!) for the same price...it will be nice to have another when squaring stuff up.

I got the same version in a past AWS deal, also "acceptable". Not much of a box, but the inside looked like it had never been used. PF showed it outputting stupid high numbers, they just didn't like the F/R switch. I never installed the clip-on part of the switch (what they were worried about breaking), as the female half has enough sticking out to flick with your finger.
These must be the Chinese made version!

Those have been on warehouse for months. Either there's something wrong with them, and they keep getting returned, or else someone just hasn't pulled the trigger.

I remember years ago when that set cost just over $100 ($115?) at my local hardware store who carried S-K. Instead I bought the 13 pc "professional" raised panel, rough finish set because the thicker beam felt more comfortable and less slippery. Paid $75 IIRC.

Don't want to bog down the deal thread.
I got an SK adjustable wrench that said made in USA on Amazon in August. It did not say USA on the handle. I think it possible that the new owners of SK have not adjusted the language on COO in the SK store on Amazon, or at least not thoroughly. Just a thought.

Maybe at $301.44 people don't want to pull the trigger. Whether S-K, USA or whatever, still seems a bit too stiff.
They're $155 on Amazon Warehouse. And yep. Still there.

I thought sk was going the China route so if there was a problem down the line the replacement would be Chinese.

Of course YMMV, but this seemed like a good buy for $138.73. So I ordered it, There is at least one more at that price remaining as of 10:30AM 9/26/24 Figured I could send it back if it ***** If it's good, I'll use it with my drill press to improve accuracy of hole placement ( wont' be using it to make my drill press a mill, far too dangerous!)
