I bought this and they only sent me one saddlebag :lol_hitti Even the box said "only one saddlebag". It's going back to Amazon today. It's real nice though.

One has to wonder what goes on there.

I ordered:

Marshalltown M6092ELB 8 X 14 Combination Power Trowel Blade Extended Life-Blue 14006, 4-Pack

Only one came in the box! What good is one new blade when you need to replace all four?

Sorry about that.... it does **** when the item doesn’t match the description. I shipped back some cable railing hardware last week as it wasn’t even close to the description.

Just to lament some more woes. I was looking to purchase eneloop rechargeable batteries and found one warehouse deal. Charger, 8 batteries, and carrying case. I received an empty carrying case

I bought the 24 pack of cutting oil, to only receive 3 lol. Did the Amazon chat, and they refunded me, told me to keep the three.

Sometimes it's a packing mistake, sometimes it's a description mistake. Look halfway down the page on the specs and see what the item weight is. Sometimes that can give a clue if it's only one item when a description looks / says multiple...

Not your fault brother. I got that billet battery box too that you posted and the thing is brand new from the look of it. Got a great deal on that one.

They only sent one and the weight should have been "Item Weight: 14.55 pounds". We were about 1/4 there. :)

Vendhan wrote me that they would issue a credit and that I could keep the one blade.

I'll just get the set of normal, not this "extended life" set of blades from Lowe's (they have 3 sets in my local store) for $54.00 and use my $10.00 off $50 coupon!

Deal notice....

Don't forget those Lowe's $10.00 off $50 (or $20 off $100) coupons expire on 01/31/2018.

This thread has cost me quite a bit of money :) I haven't really been disappointed with much! One time I got a set of hex keys and stuff was missing. Amazon took care of it and I returned it. No big deal. They are usually great to deal with!

Thanks for the deals! SPAVING!

The Wilton 500s came today. Weighs 100 lbs and was put in a regular Amazon box which arrived beat to hell. Vise base was cracked into 3 pieces. Amazon chat offered 10% / $40 off. New base is over a hundred bucks...

Chat person said to mail it back in the same box it came in. I used 3 rolls of packing tape, but still think it ain't gonna make it.

It is a shame. Really nice vise.

Amazon packed it really poorly. Basically Wilton box banging around inside a big Amazon box. FedEx wrapped it in plastic at some point to try to hold it together.

I sent Amazon the same pics you see above and they said to put it back in the Amazon box and they will have the carrier pick it up. I filled the airspace in between the boxes and used 3 rolls of tape to try to hold it together.

Complete waste.

yeah too bad - you should chat or call another CSR and send them the link to the base price. I bet you could convince them to reduce it the price of the base? What did you pay for it originally?

For supposedly being the most sophisticated retailer in the world they are clueless when it comes to packaging dense items. I've had numerous heavy items damaged, only to have them pack the replacements the exact same way. And now when you attempt to warn other customers about the poor packaging in a review, their software kicks out the review for mentioning packaging. Frustrating to say the least.

They recently shipped me a "Like new" Gladiator 4' Workbench. It was missing one of the pair of legs! After that experience I've vowed to never buy anything heavy or awkward from the warehouse. The return is too much of a PIA.

You can leave package feedback from your orders page. It doesn't show for other customers, but it might get Amazon to make changes in the future.

Usually I'm happy with the things I've ordered from Amazon Whse. Deals. Obviously there are times they screw up, like you guys mentioned.

For example, a few weeks ago I ordered some items including a face shield with headgear. I received everything but the headgear. After a lot of searching on Amazon's home page I found a way to contact them about the problem. They let me keep the face shield and offered a refund or gift card. I took the refund. Not too much trouble. It's a chance you take to get a good deal.

I bought a couple hundred dollar Wilbur Curtis coffee pot and had it shipped to the base where I was just deployed to overseas for the guys that are still deployed. The description and all the comments indicated that it was a model that requires water to be poured manually into the machine.

The model that showed up required water to be plumbed into it which isn’t possible in that location.

First, thank you for your service and second, that was an awesome thing to try and do for the folks there!

It got really old sharing a cheap 12 cup Oster between 12-20 guys. Not to derail this thread or complain.

There’s some really good deals out there and others have really scored.
