New on Amazon is ~$60, new at HD or Lowe’s is ~$40, but either way $20 is way better. Thanks!

Since you can display the images on a computer using USB I thought this could be cool for a knife maker checking an edge or someone whose eyesight is fading (like mine!) to solder etc....

I bought the cox reels retractable electrical cord offered a few pages back. I received the manual wind 1/2 hose reel instead. Complete with missing handle, hose hold down ubolt and a seized hose swivel.

This is the second reel I've bought from AWD, the hose reel I bought before went back because of shipping damage.

Thanks for the deals and continue to post them, but it's been mentioned before, stay away from the larger items.

I just bought a huge, heavy, delicate hp printer from amazon warehouse and it came intact. Ymmv

That wouldn't surprise me. Often the boxes get damaged with a puncture hole or corner smashed, but typically the larger printers have a LOT of padding and empty space in the box so chances are better than average they are not damaged. Yet many companies won't even take the risk to ship it only having to deal with a return and ship another...

I have faired well with some bigger items and as others have stated YMMV....... in that regard, I have decided to take as my old uncle Jim would say the “Beauty Pageant” approach in postings.... and I paraphrase “they can’t all be winners but that doesn’t mean somebody won’t take a runner up home....”

If I see something of interest I will post and let y’all decide. As I said before, we all put our big boy pants on so do your homework, ask the list for feedback or experience if need be and Caveat Emptor!

And Amazon makes returns easy if not as described, for example if it says like-new or cosmetic damage and it has functional issues. IMO still worth a shot for a great deal, since risk is minimal.

Yeah, AWD isn't meant to be new items, that's why they kind of grade them on levels of damage... If you get something that is new and only packing damaged then you get lucky... Most things have a little wear or a ding or dent... But for 50%-75% off (or more) I can live with that if it doesn't affect functionality. :)

I would never blame you if I received something less than perfect. I've benefited from your posts many, many times. Thank you!
