My neighbor has a grinder and a vice on mounts like that. He made his though. But they work well for him. He mostly used the vice just to hold things while he threads or polishes. Nothing to hard. His bench grinder on the other is just a small little one with a buffer wheel and a like 600 grit wheel or something along those lines.
