Wilton 6" Mechanic's vise, $145.03 down from ~$300

It's no bullet but these have a decent amount of mass to them. Probably fine for Bob Vila-esque use.

edit: the Yost FSV-6 recently dropped to ~$158 but it was short lived at that price. If you're in no hurry set up a CCC alert for that vise as I'd say the Yost is far superior to the Mechanic's series of Wiltons, and if you could get it for $15 more it's worth it.......but you'll have to be patient. The FSV-4 also goes to $100 or less at times.

I just unboxed my FSV-6 this morning, it is a fine vise and well worth the regular price, it was a smoking deal at $158.

Anybody want a 2.5" NPT pipe cap? Supposedly $41 new, down to ~$4.

Can't say I've ever encountered 2.5" NPT LOL....

I used that size for my exhaust cutouts. I think I paid about $25 for 2 caps and a couple 1ft threaded pipes. They work pretty well. But they do collect water. Not a big deal, but you do have to be pretty diligent in taking the caps off at least once a month to keep them from getting to corroded and rusting themselves together.

A lot of mufflers have a 1/8" hole to drain water. Might be worth trying in the caps.

This is rated at 1800 degrees, have you tried anything like it?

I tried that, it sounded like it had an exhaust leak.

Yeah, I use anti-seize on them. And I could probably go longer, but after needing a torch and a 4ft pipe wrench to get them off after I didn't touch them one winter I'm a little more vigilant about it.

This is a nice set but I would probably buy this on Amazon.de (you should be able to get it at a much better price).

And you may want to check out the one below on Amazon.de. The final price in USD with shipping to the US included is USD 188.71 (once you put it in your cart with a US address, you will see a lower price than the original one because you don't have to pay Germany VAT when shipping to the US)

HAZET Profi-Steckschlüssel-Satz Vierkant (6,3 mm (1/4 Zoll) + 12,5 mm (1/2 Zoll), 47-teilig, mit zwei HAZET Umschaltknarren, 2-Komponenten-Weichschaum-Einlage) 953SPC
https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00BTGIVZA/
Euro 173.34 (minus VAT, plus shipping)

Edit: Link leads me automatically to Amazon.de, so just go to Amazon.de or smile.amazon.de and search for Hazet 953 SPC
