Best I can normally find is 25% off, most of the posted deals seem better than that. Seems like a decent way to kill time, finding/posting AWD.
depending on the item, 25% off is as good as you are ever going to get. tekton tools are an example. getting 25% off is them a good deal.
Great question. I'd love to know how you find these crazy good Amazon deals.
I'm more interested in a new hobby.

I'm more interested in populating the thread than buying stuff.
set your search bar so it looks like this:
this will get you all the AWD gearwrench deals.
add this qualifier string:
&pct-off=70-
to the end of the URL in the address window. it starts like this:
and ends up like this:
hit return, and after the refresh, you will get a new selection. note the deals you get are not obviously 70% off. some are still 10% off the price amazon sells it at. i have decided that it is 70% off some mythical "list" price, and amazon (or a third party) just regularly sells it for 65% off. this will cut out a lot of the chaff though.
sometimes i just go through the listings without adding the qualifier. you still get interesting things that way. the discounts might not be as big, but this is why you see things like 500$ power tools listed. they regularly sell for 700$. while "only" 30% off, you notice 200$ (to spend on the spouse or more tools, as you see fit).
the things i post are the things i didnt buy. searches return strange things sometimes, and sometimes i post them too. there are things i won't buy (like AWD torque wrenches, or ratchets with knurled handles), but that doesnt mean you dont, and they aren't a good deal.
sometimes i notice things that i was sure would go quickly just sit there for days (weeks), and some things i wonder why i bother post are gone 5 minutes later when i refresh the page.
have fun.
