So I just took a chance on a Hazet 1789-40 puller. I couldn't get a solid grasp on exactly how big it was from the website descriptions but I figured at a normal retail of nearly $700 it wasn't small.

It arrived today and I'm pleased. I paid $178, there's one more thru AWD for $190 right now.

Shown next to a PosiLock 110 for reference, only 'cause up until now that was my largest 3 jaw puller. Don't let the cage of the PosiLock fool ya, it's arm length you want to compare. Honestly I'm hoping the Hazet might work to pull some stubborn truck drums in the future, but I figure ya can never have too many pullers!

This has dropped to $167.80 and there's a second under $180

Honestly I'm disappointed in you alleged tool addicts. Wannabes I say! :D

I bought the prybars a while ago. Seemed neat. Used the large one last week and I believe it was the first time.. it broke. I called gearwrench And Grainger had me a new replacement the next morning. Great service from both gear wrench and Grainger. Hope this one lasts longer.

I bought the 3 piece set back in November when it was in the mid $30s on the advice of one of the maintenance mechanics at work. They have been well abused with cheater pipes since then and have held up good. I am satisfied and would buy another set if the need arose.
