I bought one also. Mine just arrived. Looks like someone beat the **** out if it for 5 years. Probably had one, used it for years, bought a new one and returned the old one. I am returning it as well, but wrote an accurate description.

Just got mine yesterday. Opened it last night after seeing your post and am happy to say it looks new. No box and everything appears to be in the pouch with the meter.
