I'm done too. Had a huge flood yesterday, water over the dock, need to survey things. Have what looks like a big cedar tree jammed up under the dock, biggest flood here since Isabel in 2003.
Actually two cedar trees. My seed oyster float beached on the dock and the paddle boat came to rest on the rope. Time to pump the water out of the paddle boat.
Edit; It was actually 3 trees, all cedars. They do not rot, ever. A friend of mine showed up late afternoon who has been a licensed captain for nearly 50 years. My wife and I had gotten about everything done except the trees. I told my friend maybe we could put ropes on the trees and tow them away, he agreed this was the plan. He rigged the ropes up and we chugged across the creek to a very rural area and beached them so no hazard to navigation. They will be excellent structure for white perch fishing in the kayak. Glad to be done.
