I picked up a "refurbished" cable modem (Surfboard SBG8300, DOCSIS 3.1) last week, more than 50% off the new price. It must have been one with a damaged box, because it had the power supply, and ethernet cable (add it that to my pile), but no instructions. It still had the protective sticker on the front panel !

Despite two Moderna vaccinations and a booster I got covid (on my birthday early this month). My symptoms were pretty mild, like a bad cold, no fever, no breathing issues and I am doing well except the mental fatigue lingers. I have some friends who had similar experiences. Thank goodness my sense of taste is ok for the holidays!
