My 6 Pack of AC filters arrived today
All 4 of them. OK maybe 3 and a Hose job.
Bad enough it is a 4 pack, not 6. Then someone swapped a Home Depot cheepo filter in the mix.
$70 regular price
Bought for $28
Still getting returned because I really only received 3 of what I paid for and its almost retail for those 3.

I'm going to guess this will be the vice you get:

I have two variation of that same looking vise, HF and Wilton, the differences is the Jaw holding the stuff HF have less quality... not sure about Bessey, if this poster is talking about the cotter pin at the end of those vise. either that is a troll or some serious flockery is in that person's mind. I have some 5" and 6" regular Bessey Vises and they were excellent quality.

So, used could be broken, etc - correct?
Not all are Good deals. It's a game of chance.
Most are new but a slightly damaged box and aren't really returns.
If I am not satisfied I send it back. My returns are at about 5% of what I have received thus far. I am more than happy with most of the deals, especially when I pay pennies on the dollar. I seek deals mostly for myself and post things I do not need. Wish other did the same but there aren't many that take the time to share deals they pass on.

True, But I have always received 100% perfect items. Including brake rotors a few times.
I have purchased a dozen or more of these deals and have had 100% success rate for all purchases received. I've saved hundreds of dollars. I now have two Cox hose reels - saved a heap I would have never paid normal price as they simply cost more that I can justify. I do verify each time that the item can be returned, and it always has been returnable with no shipping fees on my part.

I did once purchase a Wilton vise for 30% of the original price. It made it to Alaska, but it experienced an issue during shipping and was returned to Amazon and I was reimbursed for the cost. I suspect the issue, which is too common, is poor packaging by either the manufacturer or Amazon or whoever packed it.

All items that I received have been brand new and appear to be returns by other customers. Parcel box is sometimes buggered up, and there are the occasional scratches on the item, but when saving $60 to $100 bucks, I like scratches!

I see no reason not to make these purchases as long as they are returnable at no cost to me.

Oh wait, maybe I shouldn't post this. Now there might be more competition. Nah, lets all help each other. Happy deal finding!

And thank you very much for all those who post!!!

Tip: use website camelcamelcamel if you want to know price history of an item on Amazon.

I've bought hundreds of warehouse deals over the years and generally return about 20% of them. Over time you'll get a feel for what kinds of items will be shipping damage, return scams, or new items that people bought just in case and then returned unused. The deals used to be way better but they've gotten more popular and Amazon has figured that out.

Bought a two-pack of M12 barreries on AWD- package arrived with only one battery. Only resolution option was a return.. Sent it back, then they dinged me on the refund because I only returned one of the two batteries...I never even opened the sealed AWD bag. Took a half-hour chat with a helpful resident of Central Asia last night to sort it out. They refunded the full amount, then a few hours later they also refunded what they felt was the value of just one battery?

So, to recap:

Two batteries purchased from AWD
One battery shipped
One battery returned
Two batteries refunded @ 100%
One battery refunded at 33%

Shipment both ways, plus 133% refund.
This transaction was a loser.

I bought a bunch of Pferd grinding stones for my 1/4” die grinder a few years ago. Bought 4 or 5 different types- Christmas tree. Round, Flat, etc…about $3 each.
When they arrived they were in master bags of maybe 25? Don’t remember the exact number but I had well over a hundred of them. The box weighed 15 or 20 pounds. Ended up paying 10 or 15 cents each. Gave a bunch of them away, been using them for probably 5 years and still have quite a few left.
Whoever runs my Estate Sale will think I had a hoarding fetish for mounted grinding stones.

Also bought a keyless drill Chuck for my Milwaukee SDS rotohammer from AWD… got a bag of 10 instead of the single I was expecting. I’ve never sold anything on eBay, so everyone I knew who had an SDS drill got one…still have a few left.

Sometimes it works in your favor.
