I wanted to complete the circle on this. I ordered the used/like new for ~$12 and sure enough, looked perfect but the box was in pieces and there was no power cord. Bummer.

So, I reached out to Ullman directly to see if I could buy a separate power cord and their customer service got back to me in a couple days offering to send me one gratis. I just received it today and the light is working perfectly.

Thanks for the tip but mostly I wanted to call out a company with great service in a public forum to give them recommendations. Thanks again Ullman.

So the Heat gun showed up the other day. Unfortunately I’ve been a little too busy to post it up, but here we go.. Promised I would report back, so here it is!

This thing works phenomenally! Heat gun was brand new, just repackaged. The construction is very stout and it looks relatively straightforward to replace consumable items such as heating elements when they go. It’s definitely heavy, so if you need to hold the unit in the same position for a lengthy amount of time you may want to look elsewhere. The reason it was sent back, I’m about 99% sure is due to the fact that this model has a Nema 5-20 plug. The gun itself says assembled in the US, but it utilizes both domestic and foreign materials.

Finally, a real world example for needing a 20 amp receptacle! Nice.
