I'm in process of cleaning my parent's house out. I discovered, in a dark damp basement (of course) a box containing various tools that apparently came from my grandparents house 20+ years ago.
I figured I would try to take rust off the more severely rusted items using vinegar to start with. One of the first ones I derusted was a 6" pair of lineman's pliers. The only name on them was "American Beauty".
(I will post pics at such time as I get opportunity, but not now)
I googled and found a company of that name that makes soldering equipment. I checked Alloy Facts (that man deserves a special place in Heaven BTW) and found no such listing.
I even searched the archives here, with no results. I now ask the members if any have ideas?
Many thanks
