Looking at this article, we can see part of the problem, made in USA may not be.

Nowadays, we at GJ have threads joking that if a tool has a US city or state name in the brand, it’s probably imported.

So when we combine those two ideas, they could be made by anyone.
I didn’t see any slam dunks here, but I’m getting bored. Maybe you can see something.
