Sometimes it doesn't matter but most of the time it does.

Are there any US manufacturers remaining that still make hardware like bolts, nuts, washers, etc.?

Like I said...most of the time it matters to me and my projects.

Thank you.

Allen brand hardware is still made here, or was the last time I stocked up.

Oh yeah there are still US manufacturers of things like fasteners for high grade stuff. Ferry Cap is one such company. I'm an M.E. on the side and have designed custom bolts before that weren't in an available size and configuration I needed. They can make anything and do it very well. There are some others too. - Paul

All Mil-Spec and GSA Compliant are. So, there's gotta be quite a few more than we know of, like Spax, ARP, Allen. Now the question is if they sell to the public...I shall google...

according to ThomasNet, there are 1,931 fastener manufacturers in the US. Most fastener distributors can source fasteners from US or elsewhere depending on what you want to pay...

I used to work for one of those Rockford screw companies that got killed off in the 90s. Still in the business with another fastener company.
The Camcar brand of socket screws are still made in the US. I understand that SPS is now making their socket screws up in Canada. Some HoloKrome are made in the US, but most in Asia.
Hex head bolts, Nucor A325 construction bolts are made in Indiana (not really part of the US). Infasco bolts are made in Canada. Be very careful of Fastenal, they got fined a big amount for violating the 'Buy american Act' on gov. contracts; said parts were US produced and they were actually from Asia.
There are a lot of US made fasteners, but almost all of them are sold to OEMs, not to consumers. Most of the fasteners used in Detroit automotive are produced in North America. There are screws being shipped from US to China to build some phones and disk drives, American mfg. is not dead.

In response to Jbizzle, I would say that most but not all AN, NAS and MS parts are US made. There are major fastener companies in the UK and France that make a lot of those parts, but they tend to sell more to the OEMs and airframers than distributors.

Fastenal is a **** shoot at best. It seems more than half of what we buy for work is Chicom. Plus what we need is almost never in stock anyways. I do like Norseman drill bits they sell though.

I had high hopes for Fastenal but have been disappointed with their quality and selection. For a consumer I think you are better off at Mills Fleet Farm, Tractor Supply or just about any other retailer. Fastenal must be designed for business accounts only, for one off purchases they are like Grainger, super high mark ups.

MSC and McMaster have US bolts, washers and nuts.

Lake Erie (LE) is cheapest from McMaster....grade 8, yellow zinc colored

Bowmalloy (bowman) is part of MSC somehow, so their bolts should be available from them.

McMaster will answer the where its made question for bolts if asked.

Lake Erie and Nucor make a lot of fasteners here in Indiana. 1/4-20 all the way up to 1".
Lake Erie bolts are Stamped LE on the head and Nucor have a lower case "n" on the head.
I used to think it was a u on the Nucor, lol.
I know LE makes HHCS's (hex head cap screw) in 10.9 grade metrics here in the US.
I have seen Nucor 8.8 metrics.
From what I understand, all Lake Erie bolts and Nucor fasteners are made in the USA with domestic steel.

Flat Washers
Wrought washer claims to be the worlds largest washer manufacture and they are made in the USA.
Willie Washer is another USA washer manufacture.

hex nuts
Telefast Industries (marked TF)
Nucor

Seastrom makes a lot of unique fasteners. The stuff I have got from them in the past comes in a bag indicating product was made in the USA.

Closest Fastenal to me will sell to anyone and their pricing is actually OK, but they'll only sell a whole box at a time. That's OK for stuff I may use all the time, but stinks when you need something that most hardware stores don't carry.

Alex71/www.AMSC.net is your answer in my opinion. US made and an active Garage Journal member. You win in two arenas. That is rare these days. Plus free shipping over $50. Not sure how you lose on that one, when I need hardware, soon in my resto future, that is where I will go. Just my $.02 .
