Another product that I buy and like that is made in the U.S.A. -- Nalgene water bottles. I carry one to work everyday. Their customer service has been great the one time I needed it and their prices are very fair--within a buck or two of the Chinese bottles on the shelf.

Overhead Door garage door, Simpson door, Kolbe & Kolbe windows, James Hardie siding (made in USA), American Gypsum Type X wall board, Knauf insulation, most of the Simpson Strong tie stuff I used, most if not all of the lumber, Dunn Edwards paint, Sherwin Williams paint, Penofin stain, Portland cement., the Siemens panel I used was marked USA.

I tried to use only USA materials in my garage. It was not practical. Some of the fastener's were Chinese as were some of the lamps.

I've seen footage of their operation. Something tell me most of their workers are illegals, but I could be wrong.

If I didn't know any better I'd swear that CC Filsons stuff was made in China, turns out it's just made in Seattle using Chinese immigrant labor.
AA is close to bankruptcy , millions in debt and the owner is paying workers over twice the minimum wage.

I love my Nalgene bottles. They have never leaked. I'm never going back to another bottle brand as they all leak the day you purchase them.

They also fit perfectly to my MSR minworks water filter I use when I'm backpacking.
