Just spoke with Albion directly. The page quoted above that says "all products designed and manufactured in America" is wrong.

They import most of their guns from Tiawan.

Hello, my name is Eric and I work for the Sound Isolation Store that was linked to above. I followed the Albion link that says they are made in the USA. It looks like their wording is a little tricky as it actually just lists their dispensing products and not the actual caulking gun.

We mainly just sell the dispensing guns and don't really deal much in caulking guns, but the dispensing gun does say made in the USA on the tag while the caulking gun says made in Taiwan--as pictured above.

We definitely didn't intend to mislead anyone into purchasing falsely advertised products from our site. We were led to believe that these caulking guns were made in the USA and didn't fully comprehend the creative wording on Albion's site. We have offered a full refund to the customer above and will of course have any reference to the caulking gun being made in the USA removed from our site.

EDIT: Apparently the dispensing gun is now made in Taiwan as well. I'm not sure when this changed, but likely very recently as we have a small stock of 'Made In USA' and a small stock of 'Made In Taiwan' dispensing guns.

I give you credit for coming forward and saying that, Eric. We appreciate guys like you coming onto the forum and being up front and honest. You seem like a stand up guy, hope you stick around. :)

That's good to know. I'll add Albion "No Difference" to the list of companies with shady, deceptive trade practices that I will avoid in the future.

I too appreciate Eric posting this information and for shelostcontrol posting the pic. It is good they will take it back (as they should but not every business does what they should; for a poster child just look at Albion). I certainly wasn't trying to mislead anyone either.

This seems to be the best caulk gun that I have found. I saw the glass installer using these Cox guns a bunch of years ago and they ordered me a couple. The ones I have where made in England. I am not sure where they are made now but they are tough and stand up to abuse.

I found this one online

I just bought two Cox Easiflow caulking guns off eBay, we'll see if they're still made here when they turn up next week. :)

I had 3 of them (the son of the PO of my house was a window fitter, and he left them in the garage). I snapped two of them whilst applying decorators caulk that was about 5degC - so now I bring the tubes indoors for 24hours before I want to use them

They all had made in england on them, but were a few years old

One will be used for a tube of exhaust sealant, the other i don't know yet..

I don't know where my old orange one disappeared to. Some idiot at a previous place of work probably chucked it in the bin with my old funnel.

Good to see another Englishman on the board!

They are the same type I have. Don't look at the price in screwfix......(screwfix state them as still being made in england)

Screwfix also do the heavier duty version, which is stated for use with high viscosity materials

Hello by the way :)
