I was curious about the same thing. You have made some very nice vise stands, are they for personal use or do you sell or gift them to people?

Very creative vise stand, as usual. I really like how you match "artistic and practicality" together. The base for the stand reminds me of the old Bascule bridges in Chicago, with their raw iron and rivets.

This vise / stand combo even has usability, when the vise is not needed. What a beautiful table for any shop project or to even pull up a bar stool and have your lunch on.

Don't take this wrong, but for me, your vise stands are always more interesting than the vise itself.

And all

It was made for the simple joy of making it and I’ll keep and use it in the shop.
I didn’t track hours but it’s a gob.
I’ve given a number of stands away and recently sold off 30 vises and stands to be displayed at a lodge.
So this will be my main vise in shop.

Thanks Fierljeppen,
Vise’s are a great excuse to create something around.
I find that designing and building stands to be a satisfying and challenging joy.
Like you, the stands with their individual vises are the focal point.
I like your pic editing!
